I didn’t manage to insert the Z-shaft, because the hole has too small diameter.
I have modified z_top STL file by increasing diameter to 8.2mm (taking PETG shrinkage into account) and now shaft fits perfectly tight.
Hole for Z-shaft has too small diameter. I didn’t managed to insert shaft even by using a bit force -haven’t tried with a hammer, though.
So I modified z_motor_mount STL file by increasing diameter to 8.2mm (taking PETG shrinkage into account) and now shaft fits perfectly tight. Too bad I didn’t check STL before printing, so I wouldn’t waste filament and time.
You’re right. One shouldn’t use T-nuts as shown on picture (flat T-nuts should be used instead).
M3 nut pocket (the one for tensioner axis bolt) has too small diameter -standard M3 locknut doesn’t fit even if force is applied. I have loaded STL in FreeCAD and my measuring shows the inner diameter of about 5.37mm. This is too small, considering that the standard allows diameter to be between 5.32-5.50mm. I have modified STL (increased diameter to 5.6mm) and now M3 nut fits perfectly. Note: on 3D print, a hole should always be slightly bigger than actually needed.
