+ | [* 9] For the whole wiring process: make sure no wire is under tension and do not over-tighten the zip ties. |
---|---|
+ | [* 1] Gather together the following cables: |
+ | [* 1] PSU, Y motor, Y end stop and Z motor (from the PSU side). |
+ | [* 7] Create a S with the Y end stop cable to avoid tension. |
+ | [* 5] Add zip ties to group the cables as shown on the image. Do not tighten the zip ties yet as you might need to readjust the position of some cables later. |
+ | [* 8] Gather the PSU cables and the Z motor cable together. Attach them with a zip tie to the ''cable_clip_horizontal''. Tighten the zip tie until it is snug but do no over-tighten or you might damage the wires. |
+ | [* 4] The Y axis cables of MK2(S) or MK2.5(S) is a little too long. To help with the wiring you can create a small loop with the extra length. Tighten the Y motor, Z motor and PSU cables together with as zip tie. Do not over-tighten or you might damage the wires. |
+ | [* 6] You can now fully tighten the previous zip ties from the green arrows. |
